This book is an exploration of authenticity.
It is a collection of perspectives and perceptions of Frank Kitts Park in relation to the rich history which manifests the beginnings of Wellington. It is a narrative response to the challenges posed by concepts of whakapapa and other cultural concerns that we were exposed to whilst in Aotearoa.

This research-led reflection of our experience allowed us to explore themes such as compromise and pragmatism through the lens of authenticity, as well as question the nature of history and how it is legitimised.
