A WOMANS PLACE is an exploration of gender autonomy through democratic and transitional approaches to form.
Inspired by the anti-suffragette movement and its origins in the 1890s, this collection looks at tradition, femininity and autonomy, realised through subversion and democratic design elements.
Placement print design has explored the role of anti-suffragette propaganda slogans and related it to the traditional stripe that embodies male business culture.

By understanding and subverting tradition garments, in this case the man's shirt, a new form of fashion is explored.
The collection embodies the meaning of the abstract garment, the traditional garment and the shrunken garment.
